It was a thrilling race at the second Robothon, which took place on the 1st and 2nd of April 2016 at Campus Urstein of Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, on the theme of “Artificial Assistants”.
Porsche Informatik, making its debut as a member of the jury at the Robothon, was impressed by the robots that twelve teams of students, pupils and companies from Austria and Italy built from a set of components and programmed in the space of a mere 24 hours.
The participants showed no evidence of their efforts and lack of sleep during the competition finale. Rainer Trischak, CEO of Porsche Informatik, closely examined the aspiring developers’ and engineers’ proposed solutions in his role as a member of the jury: “The amount of good and varied solutions developed by the teams is great. We’re happy to support such a wealth of ideas as a sponsor.”
